A ceremony to present the commemorative events of ‘Tomorrow, an electric world’, celebrating 250 years since the birth of André-Marie Ampère and to explore links between André-Marie Ampère and Albert Einstein.
Starting at 4.30pm. Provisional programme:
- Presentation of the Einstein-de Haas experiment, an emblematic object of science. This treasure, hidden for over half a century in the archives of the Musée Ampère, is none other than the only experiment carried out by Albert Einstein.
- Presentation of projects to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of André-Marie Ampère (1775-2025).
- Cocktail reception
In the presence of diplomatic representatives in France of the countries concerned and local authorities.
